Under the leadership of Ayu Kebede, MSN, APN, A-GNP-C, and Belen Assemu, MSN, APN, FNP-C, the practice is thriving and serves many residents of Oakhurst, New Jersey, and the surrounding region.

Ayu Kebede
Ayu Kebede, MSN, APN, A-GNP-C, is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner at Advance Healthcare Associates. She is pleased to be serving the many residents of Oakhurst, New Jersey, and the surrounding region.

Ayu earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Seton Hall University (SHU)’s School of Nursing in South Orange, New Jersey. Next, she completed her Master’s in Science at Rutgers University, School of Nursing, in New Brunswick and headquarters in Newark.
​
Ayu has over 14 years of nursing/nurse practitioner experience in cardiothoracic step-down, vascular center, radiology center, community health, primary care inpatient and outpatient settings, emergency medicine, and geriatric care.
​
She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Health JFK University Medical Center in Edison, Robert Wood Johnson University Barnabas Health Hospital (RWJBarnabas Health) in New Brunswick, and CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Township.

Belen Assemu
Belen Assemu, MSN, APN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Advance Healthcare Associates. She is pleased to be serving the many residents of Oakhurst, New Jersey, and the surrounding region.

Belen earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) from Kennesaw State University (KSU), School of Nursing in Georgia, Atlanta. Next, she completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Chamberlain University in Addison, Illinois.
​
Belen has over 14 years of nursing and nurse practitioner experience in acute care, burn unit critical care, telemetry unit, Step-down PCU intermediate care, Neurosurgery, infection, disease, and primary care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
She is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She spent a great deal of her career caring for Veterans, active-duty personnel, and their families, an area of care she is passionate about.
